CX92735 Interactive Display and Image Processor
Conexant’s CX92735 is a flexible digital photo frame and interactive display solution that supports industry leading image and multimedia playback, high-resolution photos, and advanced connectivity. The CX92735 system-on-chip (SoC) is a customizable, highly integrated multi-processor solution combining a high performance ARM9 CPU with Vector Floating Point Unit (FPU) and Conexant’s custom hardware JPEG and image pipeline to deliver best-in-class image quality and performance. The SoC includes an integrated Ethernet MAC, an SDIO port, and multiple USB 2.0 host ports to support WiFi® or other network peripherals. An on-chip ADC supports direct touchscreen and sensor interfaces, and a high performance DDR2 memory subsystem supports application bandwidth requirements. A programmable LCD timing controller interface supports LCD’s up to HD resolutions, and an onboard video post processor assists in multimedia playback acceleration. The CX92735, combined with Conexant’s software development kit and turnkey hardware and firmware, enables manufacturers to quickly design cost-effective digital imaging products such as digital photo frames, multimedia/connected displays, and advanced interactive display appliances.
